SSL 2 Skurup 2019

April 13-14, 2019

This is the second competition which will be a part of the Swedish Speedcubing League 2019. The competition will be held on the 13-14 of April in Skurup. More information about the competition can be found below.

Registration and Payment

Registration: Registration is made through the WCA website which can be found here: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/SSL2Skurup2019 There is a limit of competitors which has been set to 100 due to venue constraints. Registration will close on the 5th of April, but might fill up quicker than that. Then, all further registrations will be placed on a waiting list. When someone contact us and tells that they will not be able to compete, the first person who has completed the registration will be notified.

Payment: The entry fee is set to 140 SEK. This fee must be transferred in advance by all competitors. We will use the WCA payment system so payments and registration will happen on the same page. Your regisration will not be accepted before we have recieved the entry fee. If payment through the WCA payment system isn´t possible, please contact the organisation team using the contact information found on this page.

Accomodation and Food

Accomodation: It will be possible to sleep in the venue from Friday to Sunday. It is free of charge, but we would like you to book a spot. You book by sending an email to the organisers. Please include in the email: the name of the participant, any guests who also plan to stay overnight, and which nights you will stay. Remember to bring your sleeping mat and sleeping bag, as we will sleep on the floor!

Travel

Adress: Per Henriksgatan 2, 274 32 Skurup

Car: The address of the venue is Per Henriksgatan 2, 274 32 Skurup, located by the E65 between Malmö and Ystad. Parking is available across the street from the venue for free. Enter by foot through the gate with the sign that says "Folkets Park".

Train: Folkets Park is located 400 meters or 5 minutes walk from Skurup Station, train tickets can be booked at https://www.sj.se . For local information, see https://www.skanetrafiken.se.

Flight: The easiest way to reach Skurup from abroad is by flying to Copenhagen (CPH) Airport. Then from there, go by train from CPH Airport to Skurup Station via train change at Malmö Hyllie Station, travel time being 46-56 minutes.

For domestic travellers and travellers from a small number of international airports Malmö Airport (MMX) is an option. From Malmö Airport you can go by bus to Malmö C and from there by train to Skurup Station or straight from Malmö Airport by car/taxi to the venue. From Malmö Airport the distance to the venue is appr. 17 km or 15-20 minutes by car

If this is your first competition, welcome!
