SSL 1 Jönköping 2017

March 4-5, 2017

The first competition which will be a part of the Swedish Speedcubing League 2017 will be held on the 4-5 of March in Jönköping. More information about the competition can be found below.

Registration and Payment

Registration is made through the competitions WCA website which can be found here: https://www.worldcubeassociation.org/competitions/SSL1Jonkoping2017 There is a limit of competitors which has been set to 75 due to venue constraints. Registration will close latest on the 26th of February or when the competitor limit is reached. Then, a waiting list will be created. When someone contact us and tells that they will not have the possibilty to compete, the first person will be notified. They will then have to transfer the entry fee so that their registration can be accepted.

The entry fee is set to 100 SEK. This fee must be transferred in advance by swedish competitors. Non-swedish competitors may pay the registration fee at the competition venue.

Accomodation and Food

Best Western Plus John Bauer Hotel will give cubers a special discount during the weekend. These are the discounted prices:

Single room: 550 SEK
Double room: 790 SEK
Triple room: 1185 SEK

There are many supermarkets close to the competition venue. The closest one is Netto located on Västra Storgatan, 500 meters from the venue.

Many restaurants of different types are found in the city center, approximately 600 meters from the competition venue.

Travel

Car: The venue is easy accesible and located in the central parts of Jönköping. Travel directions can be found thorugh sites such as Google Maps. Otherwise, there are multistory car parks in the city center, and other car parks available close to the venue.

Train: Jönköping Centralstation is located only 500 meters from the competition venue. Train seats can be booked through https://sj.se
